What we never store on Hylaq servers

  • Message bodies (those stay on your device + Apple’s servers)
  • Apple ID password or 2FA codes
  • Validation packets (peer-to-peer + on-device only)

What we do store: thread metadata, body hashes (for tamper-detection), and Hylaq attachments (Loadit Drop links, Sign doc IDs, @handle mentions). All of it is bound to your @handle — yours forever.
